When the parents are away,
the kids come out to play!
So life with parents out of the country result in claiming the throne to Hail-Queen-Miriam-the-Big-One, frantic chauffeuring and catering to the Choe Establishment, and..
a 1 am outing to the 24 hr grocery store for all the necessary ingredients (plus breakfast bacon) to make smores.
[BBQ grill + 'borrowed' wood + chopsticks taped together + balcony porch + 7 kids = Gooey/burned marshmallows + fight for leftover chocolate pieces + quotes from the Simpsons and WHAAT!]
As YOPPA summarizes:
Work sucks, Lost rules, asian hobos at king soopers @ 1-2am is the best.
Because when we shop, we like to deck out in full gear: Daniel karate kicks at security cameras, Teresa treads barefoot in signature ripped pjs, and I test-sit kiddie chairs in Grace's frog blanket.
This random excursion was followed by random encounters with a suspicious police jeep ("it's the PO!") circling our car in the parking lot, a jay-walking gaggle of teenyboppers armed with sticks creepily resembling the Others (haha), and a DEER we all screamed at while turning a corner in the middle of classic Suburbia. It was dark.
Today marked my first experience working at Foley's - wasn't too bad except for a momentary panicking at the register and an internal exclamation of OH MY at a particular co-worker...ehh..
I hope Umma and Abba are safe on their trip <3>
